Job Description
- The Sales Representative will be responsible for assisting customers, driving in-store sales, ensuring proper product display, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- This role is ideal for individuals who are energetic, customer-focused, and sales-oriented.
- The Sales Representative will be responsible for assisting customers, ensuring smooth sales operations, maintaining product displays, and achieving daily sales targets.
- You will play a key role in ensuring that every customer enjoys a satisfying shopping experience and that store goals are met.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and attend to customers promptly and professionally.
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products.
- Provide accurate information about products, prices, and promotions.
- Ensure proper product display, labeling, and shelf arrangement.
- Monitor inventory levels and report stock shortages or fast-moving products.
- Record and process sales transactions accurately.
- Meet and exceed assigned sales targets.
- Handle customer complaints or inquiries courteously and escalate when necessary.
- Support daily store operations and maintain cleanliness and orderliness.
- Participate in periodic stock-taking and promotional activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum of OND / NCE / HND / BSc is an added advantage.
- 1–3 years of proven experience as a sales representative, preferably in a supermarket, retail, or FMCG environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of retail sales techniques and customer service principles.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficiently.
- Smart appearance, honesty, and strong work ethic.
- Basic computer literacy (POS operation knowledge is an added advantage).
