Who we are

Advertising is integral to modern life. Without advertising, markets as we know them would cease to function; it is fundamental to the success of our economy, driving growth of businesses large and small. Advertising also funds many of the everyday services we take for granted, from search to emails to entertainment. As the role of advertising in our day-to-day lives increases so does the need for it to be both trusted and responsible.

Credos is committed to an honest appraisal of advertising, identifying its shortcomings as well as its positive features, so that the industry can address our findings.

The Advertising Association represents the advertising industry – its members comprise of advertisers, agencies and media owners.
