We are looking for passionate and driven Sales Development Representative to join our ProService Sales Team at our Manchester head office on the next stage of our journey. This is a dynamic role where you’ll combine strong client relationship management with proactive new business development.
As a Business Development Executive , you’ll identify new business opportunities, generate revenue, improve profitability and play a key part in the continued growth of HSS ProService. This role is based in our head office in Trafford Park, Manchester, Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:30.

A typical day:
- Use all available data sources to research and identify new business opportunities, including new markets, lapsed customers, low spenders, growth sectors or new ways of reaching existing markets.
- Generate leads, contact prospective customers and identify key decisionmakers within organisations.
- Work closely with Account Executives to ensure smooth handovers and successful order conversion.
- Build and maintain strong knowledge of your account base.
- Crosssell and upsell effectively, maintaining a thorough understanding of our full product and service offering across all divisions.
- Meet and exceed sales KPIs, including revenue, profitability, call activity, quality metrics, talk time and data enrichment.
Responsibilities:
- Proven track record in sales or business development, with a demonstrable ability to meet or exceed targets.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- A resilient and proactive mindset with a dynamic and dedicated attitude.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Prior experience in outbound calling or customer contact roles.
