The founder operates at a fast pace and upholds exceptionally high standards for written communication, requiring precise, polished, and error-free output across all sales touchpoints.

Job Overview
The Sales Assistant will support the founder in expanding the top of the funnel through email-only outreach, no cold calling involved. This role requires exceptional written English, flawless grammar, and meticulous attention to detail, as most responsibilities involve drafting emails, managing follow-ups, and organizing sales collateral. The ideal candidate combines a strong writing background with sales intuition, operating with accuracy, structure, and consistency while leveraging AI tools (GPT, Claude) to refine messaging and improve efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Email Outreach & Sales Support (No Cold Calling)
- Draft highly customized outbound email sequences targeting specific buyer personas.
- Use AI tools (GPT, Claude, etc.) to personalize messaging and improve efficiency.
- Maintain timely follow-ups to keep leads warm and engaged.
- Track and manage email responses and outreach performance.
Pipeline & Organizational Support
- Maintain an organized, accurate pipeline using Google Sheets.
- Ensure all data is updated, clean, and error-free.
- Prepare proposal documents, contracts, and collateral with perfect formatting and written clarity.
Collaboration with Founder
- Provide clear updates and organized information to support deal progression.
- Ensure the founder always has the context and assets needed to close opportunities.
Follow-Up Management
- Stay on top of follow-ups and ensure all responses are tracked and acted on promptly.
- Proactively reach out to leads who have not responded, ensuring continuous engagement.
Qualifications:
Experience
- 2+ years in sales development, email outreach, sales administration, marketing, editorial work, or other writing-heavy roles.
- Experience drafting outreach emails or customer-facing written communication.
- Background in journalism, English, writing, content creation, or editorial work is strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting a founder or working in a fast-paced environment is a plus.
- Understanding of DTC or e-commerce ecosystems is beneficial.
Skills
- Exceptional written English with flawless grammar, clarity, structure, and tone.
- Strong attention to detail; accuracy and formatting must be consistently error-free.
- Proficient in Google Sheets for tracking and organizing data.
- Ability to leverage AI tools to customize and optimize messaging.
- Highly organized, self-directed, and able to manage multiple touchpoints independently.
- Strong sales intuition paired with excellent written communication skills.
- Proactive follow-up discipline and strong data hygiene.
