Our client is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join their sales team and focus on setting qualified appointments with potential clients. The SDR will be a key driver in the top-of-funnel sales process, responsible for outreach, lead qualification, and scheduling meetings for the account executives. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of sales experience, fluent English, and an energetic, personable approach that engages prospects effectively.

Fully-Remote (Work from Home), 9 AM – 5 PM EST

Role Overview:


As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads to support the sales team. You will focus on outbound outreach through calls, emails, and social messaging, setting appointments with qualified leads. The ideal candidate should have a proactive attitude, the ability to build rapport quickly, and be driven to meet and exceed KPIs.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Outreach
    • Conduct outbound outreach to prospects via calls, emails, and social messaging to generate qualified leads.
    • Qualify leads by identifying pain points, needs, and buying intent before scheduling appointments for the sales team.
    • Maintain a high level of activity to meet daily and weekly outreach goals while ensuring quality conversations.
    • Use Salesforce or other CRM platforms to track outreach, log interactions, and manage the sales pipeline.
  • Appointment Setting & Qualification
    • Schedule meetings with pre-qualified prospects.
    • Follow scripts and adapt messaging based on prospect responses to maximize engagement.
    • Ensure prospects are properly nurtured and informed prior to appointments to improve show-up rates.
  • Collaboration & Communication
    • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to align on messaging, campaigns, and lead priorities.
    • Provide feedback on lead quality, scripts, and outreach strategies to improve overall performance.
    • Maintain clear and timely communication with the sales team regarding scheduled appointments and follow-ups.
  • Personal Brand & Professionalism
    • Represent the company with professionalism, energy, and enthusiasm in every interaction.
    • Demonstrate a strong on-camera presence during virtual meetings.
    • Be proactive, self-motivated, and driven to exceed individual KPIs.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of sales experience, preferably in an SDR, BDR, or appointment-setting role.
  • Fluent English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High energy and personable attitude, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • CRM experience (Salesforce familiarity is a plus).
  • Comfortable with outbound calling and email outreach as primary responsibilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple leads and follow-ups.
  • Ability to take feedback, iterate quickly, and continuously improve outreach effectiveness.
