Role of the Job

Create and refine high-quality written content tailored for the UK market by developing new articles, editing existing ones, and ensuring consistent tone, clarity, and engagement. Conduct market research to optimise content for relevance, SEO performance, and audience appeal.

Responsibilities:

• Write engaging, original British English content for various platforms and audiences
• Edit, revise, and expand existing articles to improve clarity, tone, and depth
• Conduct market analysis and keyword research to identify content improvement opportunities
• Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, SEO strategy, and audience expectations
• Collaborate with internal teams to maintain quality and consistency across all written materials
• Adapt content to reflect cultural and linguistic nuances specific to the UK market

Requirements:

• 8–10 years of experience in professional copywriting and editing
• Strong portfolio showcasing relevant writing samples
• 15–20 hours of weekly availability with potential for long-term collaboration
• Native UK English speaker with proven experience writing for the UK audience
• Excellent command of British spelling, tone, and grammar
• Strong understanding of SEO and SEO copywriting techniques
• Ability to craft human-written content without AI tools
• Eligible to invoice as a freelancer
• Experience with content management systems preferred
