About Us:
- GT Automotive Parts Ltd is a specialist supplier of car parts to the automotive aftermarket. Based in Witney, we’re a passionate, expert team dedicated to delivering the right parts, knowledge, and service to our customers. The Role:
- This is a pivotal dual-focus role that sits at the heart of our data and customer support teams. You’ll play a key role in our data operations, supporting the critical work that powers how we compete and grow in the aftermarket. Alongside this, you’ll be accountable for answering customer calls and delivering a brilliant experience that keeps them coming back. It’s a varied role with real responsibility, and a real opportunity to make your mark. Responsibilities:
Data Analyst:
ADVERTISEMENT
- Work directly with our Senior Data Analyst & Technical Operations Lead to manage and upload product data across key industry platforms including Autocat, TecDoc and MAM — ensuring our catalogue is accurate, comprehensive and always up to date
- Use Excel and Google Sheets to help organise, clean and maintain data sets that underpin how we source, price and sell parts
- Maintain and optimise website data to ensure GT Automotive is displayed positively online
- Take ownership of routine data tasks with pride and precision, and proactively propose improvements to our data processes
- Play an active role in keeping our product data best-in-class. In the automotive aftermarket, great data is a genuine competitive advantage and your contribution here will directly impact how we perform
Customer Support Executive:
- Field inbound customer telephone calls in a professional, friendly, and knowledgeable manner
- Handle queries, and resolve customer information requests and issues as the first point of contact
- Escalate technical queries to the right team members efficiently and clearly
- Proactively identify sales opportunities during customer interactions and follow up on enquiries to help drive business revenue
- Build great relationships with customers and positively represent the GT Automotive brand
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Highly organised with a strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working with data and learning new systems quickly
- A confident communicator who genuinely enjoys speaking with people
- A self-starter who takes initiative and gets things done
- Previous experience in a data-related or customer service role is a plus
- An interest in or knowledge of the automotive industry is beneficial but not essential — we’ll teach you what you need to know
