Our client is expanding its sales team and seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support lead generation and qualification efforts. They operate within the payments technology sector and are focused on growing their customer base through efficient outreach, consistent follow-ups, and strong pipeline management. Role Overview
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will focus on outbound dialing, lead qualification, and maximizing show-up rates for scheduled meetings. The role involves reaching out to prospects, conducting follow-ups, and ensuring all leads are properly qualified before transitioning them to the sales team. The ideal candidate is organized, self-driven, and skilled at managing communication and data within the CRM.

Responsibilities:

Outbound Outreach

  • Conduct outbound calls using provided contact lists to identify potential customers, introduce services, and qualify leads.
  • Use multiple outreach methods, including phone calls, emails, and LinkedIn messages.
  • Follow up with leads consistently to increase show-up rates for scheduled meetings.

Lead Qualification

  • Qualify leads based on predefined criteria to identify prospects ready for deeper sales discussions.
  • Ask relevant questions to assess prospect needs and alignment with company offerings.
  • Hand off qualified leads to the sales team with all necessary information for smooth transitions.

Data Management

  • Track all lead and prospect information accurately in the CRM.
  • Maintain organized, up-to-date records of interactions, meetings, and follow-ups.
  • Monitor lead data to track conversion rates and evaluate outreach performance.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure timely follow-up on qualified leads and support pipeline development.
  • Share insights from outreach interactions to help improve messaging and outreach strategies.

Qualifications:

Experience

  • 2+ years of sales development experience, preferably with outbound prospecting and lead qualification.
  • B2B sales experience preferred, ideally in a SaaS or tech environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets or activity goals.

Skills

  • Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience using CRM systems to manage leads and track performance.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to adapt communication styles and quickly understand customer needs.
