Job Title: Healthcare Data Entry Specialist

Location: Remote
Compensation: $40,000 – $45,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications

Role of the Job

Support key healthcare data workflows by accurately managing provider referrals, patient data, and cohort records. Ensure data integrity, timely activation of patient profiles, and high-quality reporting across healthcare systems.

Responsibilities:

Input and update referral data received from healthcare providers into internal systems
Import and validate patient records from external platforms for completeness and accuracy
Review and clean cohort lists in Excel or CSV formats for proper system upload
Verify consent documentation and activate patient profiles in the system
Generate and distribute accurate reports tailored to client needs
Collaborate with client success teams to clarify reporting requirements and incorporate feedback
Maintain data accuracy and uphold patient privacy standards

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or higher preferred
Minimum 1 year of experience in data entry, healthcare administration, or related role
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data management tools
Familiarity with EHR systems and HIPAA compliance preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent time management and ability to work independently in a remote setting
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
