Our client is a rapidly growing technology company specializing in AI-driven solutions that help businesses identify and engage with high-value prospects. Their platform enhances sales teams’ efficiency by streamlining lead generation, automating outreach, and providing data-driven insights. As they expand, they are looking for a highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join their team and drive the growth of the client pipeline.

Location and Time:
Fully Remote (Work from Home), 9 AM – 6 PM EST

Role Overview:
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will play a key role in the sales process by conducting outbound dialing, booking qualified appointments, and managing follow-ups to ensure a high show-up rate for demos. You will be the first point of contact for potential clients, so a strong client-facing presence is essential. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for managing the pipeline and ensuring smooth handovers to the sales team. Your goal will be to generate interest in the product, nurture leads, and contribute to the overall sales strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Outbound Dialing & Appointment Setting:
    • Conduct high-volume outbound calls to potential prospects, aiming to book qualified appointments for the sales team.
    • Ensure that all leads are followed up on and appointments are scheduled efficiently.
    • Focus on achieving a high show-up rate for demo calls as a key performance indicator (KPI).
  • Client-Facing & Demo Call Support:
    • Maintain a strong client-facing presence during initial interactions, offering a personable and professional approach on camera.
    • Participate in demo calls to provide initial client introductions and seamlessly hand over prospects to the sales team.
  • Follow-Ups & Rescheduling:
    • Manage all follow-up activities, including rescheduling missed appointments and ensuring continued engagement with leads.
    • Ensure that no lead falls through the cracks, maintaining consistent communication throughout the sales cycle.
  • Pipeline Management & Top-of-Funnel Growth:
    • Keep the sales pipeline organized and updated, using CRM systems to track progress and maintain detailed records of all interactions.
    • Work towards growing the top of the funnel by identifying new prospects and engaging with them through strategic outreach.

Qualifications:

  • Experience & Skills:
    • 2+ years of experience in outbound sales and hitting/exceeding sales quota, preferably in a B2B environment.
    • Fluency in English, both written and verbal, with excellent communication skills.
    • Previous experience working with CRM systems and dialer tools to manage sales pipelines and outreach efforts.
    • Strong phone presence with the ability to engage clients confidently and professionally on camera.
  • Mindset & Attributes:
    • Highly motivated, results-driven, and eager to exceed sales targets.
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple leads and tasks concurrently.
    • Enthusiastic and proactive, with a natural ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
    • Ability to work independently while maintaining close collaboration with the sales team.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Consistently meeting or exceeding monthly appointment-setting and show-up rate goals.
  • Maintaining an organized and up-to-date sales pipeline in the CRM system.
  • Successfully transitioning leads to the sales team for closing, with minimal friction during handoffs.
  • Positive feedback from clients regarding professionalism, engagement, and support during demo calls.
